Intended Audience
This manual is intended for administrators (Global Administrator and Primary Administrator) responsible for enrolling default roles for different Admin and users. This guide assumes that the user is experienced in:
- Provide access to other modules with understanding and handling
- To act on the content uploaded by the end-users
- User administration (setup and maintaining account)
- They are maintaining the system and verifying that peripherals are working correctly.
- Monitor system performance, Create a backup and recovery policy.
- Setup security policies for users. A sysadmin must have a firm grasp of computer security (e.g., firewalls and intrusion detection systems)
- Password and identity management
How to use this Administrator User Guide
This guide describes how to use the Solix ECS.
Procedures are provided for all functional options available for the ECS. The features included in ECS depend on the data storage application. Follow only the guidelines that apply to Solix ECS.
Login to Solix ECS Application
- Click URL https://ecsapp.solix.com/login to open the Solix ECS application in the browser, will see the login page.
- Enter the User name and password provided by Solix or the Administrator. Click LOGIN
Note: If the user attempts to log into the Solix ECS application with incorrect credentials more than five times, the Admin will be notified. Contact Administrator to reset the account.
- Click on the user profile icon present in the top right side corner of the display screen.
- On clicking the profile icon, a drop-down list will appear consisting of 3 options
