The option Add/View Tags is used to add tags to the file/folder and also to view the existing tags. Tags are used when performing advanced search of the file/folder.
To add or view a tag of a file/folder:
- Select the file or folder, right-click on it, and then click Add/View Tags. To add tags to multiple files, select multiple files by clicking the check box on each file.
- When a single file/folder is selected, the Edit Tags pop-up appears on the screen. Users can view the existing comments, if the file has any, in this pop-up as shown below.
- When multiple files are selected, the Add Tags pop-up appears as shown below. This pop-up does not show the existing tags of the selected files; it is only for adding new tags for the selected files.
- Enter a tag or multiple tags separated by a comma in the text box. When a comma is entered, the tag name will be added automatically in the text box and appears in blue color or enter a tag and click outside of the text box to add the tag.
- To remove a tag, click close icon on the tag.
Do any of the following:
- Click SAVE. A message “Successfully updated the tags” appears at the bottom of the page.
- Click CANCEL to cancel the tags update activity.
