The Notifications tab displays the list of notifications with checkboxes. Users can manage all the e-mail notifications that ECS sends when various actions are performed on files and folders.
Users receive email notifications when the actions performed on:
- The files/folders that user owns
- The files/folders that are shared with the users.
In this tab, users can manage these notifications by selecting the checkboxes next to the actions. If a checkbox is selected, then an email notification will be sent to user when that action is performed.
To receive email notifications for actions performed on the items:
- For items user own, select the checkbox under For Items I own column against the action.
- For items shared with users, select the checkbox under For Items shared with me column against the action.
- Click SAVE.
For example, the below image shows that all the checkboxes are selected, i.e., users receive email notifications for all actions performed on the items user own or items shared with the users.
