This feature enables users to provide the capability of searching for the Migrated or uploaded Emails (i.e., .eml.pst files, and configured email IDs) on ECS by using the metadata or any required combinations like,
- From: Email Address
- To: Email Address
- By adding a Subject
- By adding its Attachments
- Data
This feature enables users to apply an email advance search for uploaded and updated emails for these three types, as listed below:
- The user uploaded individual emails (.eml files) into My Files.
- The user uploaded.pst files into the My Files section allows users to apply with or without extracting the .pst files into .eml files.
- Depending on the .pst file size, the time taken for the creation of new folders and extraction of files will vary.
- To check for successful extraction of.pst files, refresh the page to view the extraction of folders and files.

To perform an email advanced search:
- Click the Down Arrow icon located in the search box.
- Select Email option.
- The email advanced search options are displayed as shown below.
- Enter the following details:
- Provide user email IDs in the From Email for a specific or multiple users seraches.
- Users can search with From Email to find a specific email data.

- Users can apply advance search terms to obtain information for multiple From Email IDs.
- Provide user email IDs in the To Email for a specific or multiple users searches.
- Users can search with To Email to find a specific email data.
- Users can apply advance search terms to obtain information for multiple for To Email IDs.
- Provide email Subject information to facilitate search.
- To fetch a search using a Date range, from the calendar icon, choose From Date and To Date.
- To fetch search using attachments, enable or disable the Has attachment checkbox. This page displays all the files that hace their attached documents. with an attachment icon.
Note
All of the email advanced search fields listed above are optional.
- Select any of the following:
- Click SEARCH button to initiate the search.
- Click RESET to clear the search criteria provided.
